Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) – Chris Neil scored a pair of goals to lead the Ottawa Senators over the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-1, in preseason action.
Jesse Winchester also lit the lamp for the Senators, while Martin Gerber stopped 10-of-11 shots between the pipes in the win.
Darroll Powe scored an unassisted goal in the first period, accounting for the Flyers’ only shot in the opening stanza. Jean-Sebastien Aubin surrendered two goals on 23 shots faced, and Martin Biron was beaten once on 11 shots in a period of action for Philadelphia.
