No pre-season comments? I am sad….mainly because my Habs looked excellent last night (I’m mainly referring to the kids). They will be counted on heavily this year to put up or shut up…much like Carter and Richards this year…I like Cobourn, he will be solid this year…

Eagles are 0-2 and that is a shame. I love McNabb and think he gets no love from anyone….I wish he came to Buffalo. Why do the Eagles not recognize the fact that they need a friggin WR. I could care less about Brown and what he may or may not do for the offense. McNabb is an excellent passer, but has nobody to throw to…Kevin Curtis? give me a break. TO was the best thing that happened to him, someone who could actually catch the ball and take it to the house. Their offense will struggle until they get a top notch WR. It’s as bad as the Flyers neglecting their goaltending problem about 5 – 8 years ago, they had a chance at Curtis Joseph and took John Vanbiesbrook instead….retarded. Bleed it out by Lincoln Park kicks ass….

Have to agree with previous post, Bernie Nicholls had one of the greatest seasons ever but never mentioned some guy who wore 99 overshadowed him. Led Zeppelin was overrated 30 years ago and still are today. I agree with you and Donald Trump and Charlton Heston (dam dirty rosie). I think you are referring to strapping on the skates does that mean you have the Scotty Bowman moulded Langes??? Most skates made after 85 have laces.

Woke up this morning with EAGLE poop on my head. The offensive line didn’t block, the defense didn’t tackle and to top it all off, the Monday Night Football broadcast team is the worst on TV (ad Barber for an even worse team).
The only bright spot was the ever joyful Prince Charles of Barcley.

The more I see Chad Johnson the more I think he is great for the new game of football. By “new game” I mean the NFL with charisma. I hear all these old school guys saying that whenever you score a touchdown, you should just flip the ball to the ref and carry on to the sideline….f-that….the NFL is about entertaining, penalizing a team for even the most remote celebratory act is just ridiculous. What is wrong with taking 30 seconds out of a game to get giggy with it? That is one thing the CFL actually encourages…fuck these old schoolers…it is a new time and a new game….there are no more power sweeps, that’s been replaced with the west coast offense…..what Chad Johnson has done is fantastic…..remember when he sent letters to the Cleveland Browns wishing them luck in covering him the upcoming week? Fantastic…..I mean that spurned DeAngelo Hall to carve something into the back of his head for pre-season….

i dont have a problem with the celebrations the Chad Johnson does, only because he keep it in perspective. when the Bengals were stinking it up in the middle of last season, he stopped all the antics and got back to focusing on the basics. he said something to the effect of, “when we arent winning football games, what right do i have to take pleasure in personal acheivements?” id prefer that some of the celebrations were toned down a bit, but i have respect for Johnson in that he isnt going to do that stuff if hes on a 3-13 team.
