PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Jussi Jokinen, Antti Miettinen, and Mike Ribeiro scored second-period goals to lead the Dallas Stars over the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 on Saturday night.

Jeff Halpern also scored, and Trevor Daley and Brenden Morrow each had two assists for the Pacific Division leaders, who played tenacious defense in snapping a two-game losing streak.

Marty Turco had 17 saves for Dallas, which played its sixth game in nine days. The Stars had won six straight before losing at New Jersey and Pittsburgh.

Randy Jones scored for the Flyers, who had won two of three - beating division leaders Carolina and Ottawa. Marty Biron stopped 26 shots.

Jokinen broke a 1-1 tie at 1:42 of the second period when he deflected Philippe Boucher's shot with the shaft of his stick over Biron's right shoulder.

Dallas then scored a pair of power-play goals within a span of 1:54. After Miettinen snapped off a shot from the left circle at 13:22, Morrow picked off Mike Knuble's clearing attempt and fed Ribeiro, who was alone in front.

Jones put the Flyers ahead on their first shot of the game, at 41 seconds. He banked in a shot from the left side off Turco's body. It was his second goal of the season and first in 18 games.

Dallas pulled even at 15:25 of the period when Halpern redirected Steve Ott's shot from near the right boards past Biron.

Notes: Dallas played the fifth of six games on its longest road trip of the season. ...
