Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Joffrey Lupul had a goal and two assists as the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 at St. Pete Times Forum.

Mike Knuble, Scott Hartnell and Kimmo Timonen also tallied for the Flyers, who have won two in a row since a season-high a six-game losing streak. Martin Biron stopped 31 shots.

Vincent Lecavalier and Vinny Prospal scored for the Lightning, who have lost four in a row and nine of 11. Karri Ramo made 18 saves.

Lupul scored his first career penalty shot, beating Ramo through the five- hole, with 12:47 left in the first period, giving Philadelphia a 1-0 edge. Lupul was awarded the penalty shot after being pulled down by Tampa Bay defenseman Brad Lukowich on a breakaway.

Lecavalier's one-timer with 8:16 remaining in the opening period tied the game at 1, but Knuble answered for the Flyers.

On a power play, Knuble was able to poke the disc past Ramo during a multiple player scramble in the crease for a 2-0 lead with just 56 seconds left in the second period.

Philadelphia pulled away early in the third. Hartnell deflected Brandon Coburn's shot past Ramo just 31 seconds into the period for a 3-1 lead.

Timonen added another goal for the Flyers with 15:53 left to play, pushing Philadelphia's lead to 4-1.

Prospal, a former Flyer, capped the scoring with 11:52 showing on the clock.
